Description
Bush Tucker Tjukurpa, a sacred and deeply meaningful aspect of the culture. Through her art, she represents the native foods that her people harvest from the land—foods that have sustained her ancestors for thousands of years.
Using rich earthy tones, vibrant ochres, and intricate dot work, she brings to life the fruits, seeds, and animals that are central to the traditional diet. Bush plums, bush tomatoes, honey ants, and witchetty grubs all find their place in her paintings, each carefully depicted with symbols that tell stories of abundance, survival, and respect for the land.
